About Gillrick Metalwork
Founded in 1981 as a general sheet metalwork facility serving the whole of Central Scotland. 1995 saw the company expand to our current modern site of 6500 square feet in Blantyre close to the main arterial routes of the M74 and M8.We are fully committed to customer service and provide a precision sheet metal and fabrication service to a wide variety of industries. Our modern CNC equipment enables us to process high tolerance general metalwork in both ferrous and non-ferrous materials.
Our principle clients come from a broad range of industries including Specialist Vehicle Manufacturers, Road and Rail Transport, Food Process Industry, Electrical Panels, Special Purpose Machinery, OEM Hydraulic System suppliers, Energy Supply, Aerospace, Water and Effluent Plant and general engineering industries. The team at Gillrick employ a CAN DO attitude, and are more than happy to handle any problem. We regularly become involved at the prototype stage and are ideally set up to deal with 1 offs through to production volumes.
Having achieved IS0 9001:2008 & OHAS 18001-2007, our team is proud to be able to provide a modern, customer focused, quality led manufacturing facility. Our welders are fully coded in MIG and Tig in Aluminium, Mild Steel, Stainless Steel and Titanium
We are keenly aware that our clients require a quality service, fast turnaround in both quotation and production and all aspects of our operations are geared around these requirements.
Partnerships
Through our associate companies Zeus Engineering Ltd and Argon Engineering Ltd we supply quantity precision machined components, manufacture and process high tolerance sheet metalwork in both ferrous and non ferrous materials at both these modern plants.

Health, Safety and the Environment
Gillrick Metalwork’s processes and procedures have been put in place to ensure our company satisfies our customers Health, Safety and Environmental requirements whilst also meeting all legislative, regulatory and industry best practice requirements.
All Gillrick Metalwork’s managers have completed the IOSH Managing Safely Certificate. We also employ a dedicated HSEQ Manager who is a chartered member of IOSH.
Gillrick Metalwork operate an Employee Competence and Development Plan ensuring our workforce meet customer and regulatory competence requirements. This includes all employees receiving a comprehensive Health and Safety induction when they join our company.

We aim through our ISO 9001:2008 and OHSAS 18001:2007 to achieve customer satisfaction by setting out what needs to be in place to consistently meet our customer requirements. Our Quality Management Systems help us to continually monitor, manage and improve quality across all of our operations.
